The Eastern Air Temple, as well as the rest of the Air Temples fell to ruin. The Earth benders from the newly built Ba Sing Se came and helped them build one massive Nation and the air benders have thrived ever since this and the fall of Ozai, and the Air Benders have fully recovered their numbers. While they are semi-secluded, they do often go to the Gathering Place. They do join in on peace talks with the other nations and have built up an army for defensive purposes only, so the Air Nation remains neutral. The nation to this day is still independent, secluded and peaceful, keeping to the ways of peace and non-retaliation that they have always known. They live upon a large Eastern mountainous island mass that is full of forests and waterfalls. The sky is most always clear and open. Many non-benders farm and help put up wind-mills to harness their own electricity. They've utilized it all in a new modern twist and often do community gatherings to honor the past Avatars.
