The Glowing Grasslands

Subject: The Glowing Grasslands Thu Jul 12, 2012 6:30 pm

The ~~landing~~ spot.

Branched off from the city there are fields for produce.
Apples, oranges, and grape vineyards stretch across for a few miles and the beach is south of it.
Strangely enough though, there is a small area of the land that has been reverted to its natural state.
In other words, before farmers got to it.
The grass is tall and untamed, and in the center there is nothing, but a crater of dirt.
The grass appears to glow a gold from the reflection of the hot sun on its leaves.
And though the sun is effortlessly shining, the winds circle around this one particular spot and make it almost freezing.
This area gives off a strange vibe of peace and serenity. It also seems to ward off questionable auras or
those with bad intentions.

It burns...
...It'll be alright dear sister...

They landed.
Their wings had wrapped around their bodies defensively, but
were burnt away while falling through the Earth's atmosphere.

"O-Oru-San...?" Aru, the younger twin slowly sat up in the crater
that their bodies formed. She winced as she rose her arms and gave herself a good stretch.
"This place...it's quite beautiful isn't it?"
Aru was the blonde red eyed twin. She gave her hair a short shake.
Their abnormal strength was still intact for the way she was quickly recovering from such impact.

"Y-Yes...tch-! But we have more important matters like the demon embodiment's of our feathers.
Tthey will surely--"

"Surely endanger the humans?" Aru cut Oru off.

"Yes dear sister..." Oru replies with patience in her voice, her bright blue eyes dilating with the sunlight.

"We can worry about that later, can't we? I mean. We just got here. Can't we take a break?"

"There is no time for breaks..." Oru sat up from the dirt pulling her long black hair to the front and
casting it back as a long neat braid.

The twins curiously looked around at the many trees and their baring fruit as their stomachs growl in unison.
"Surely no one would mind, right?" Oru looked to Aru, but saw that she was already feasting
upon the apples without a worry in this world.
A sigh escapes her lips as she cautiously joins her sister.

*Blue had wondered off from his troupe to adventure and see the nearby country side. He knelt down and brushed the grass with his hands and the tips of the grass glowed blue as his fingers brushed across them. His blue cape blew in the strong breeze along with his
Long hair. He walked around until he saw a pillowy cloud forming not to far away*
"This looks interesting..."
*he continued his way to a
Large crater where he saw two glowing objects towards the bottom of it*
"Anything down there? Hello?"

"Neh-!" Oru stared back up at the figure as her sister was already positioned on the branch of an apple tree in the distance.

Act...natural!

"No need to fear human! I am aware that I am in a hole!
Haha! Just your fellow human here! In a hole!" Oru went on to ramble as her
bright blue eyes teared up from pressure.

"This is sooo~ good!" her sister Aru yelled in the distance
while devouring a yellow-red apple enthusiastically.
"No wonder Eve couldn't resist!" she laughed while being purely oblivious of
the new figures appearance.

"I see that. I'll be coming to help you out now."
*he removed his long, heavy cape and placed his thick note book atop of it to make sure it stated there. He went to the edge of the crater and carefully slid down the crater to the center where it evened out enough to walk on. He stepped towards the glowing figure towards the center as he shaded his view with his hand*
"Are you hurt?"

*travis was just getting out of work at his restaurant when he looked up at the sky while walking home, seeing what looked to be a small meteor, wanting to go check it out*

*serina was sitting in the window seat of the plane when she saw something whoosh by almost hitting the wing of the plane and thought it would be a great adventure to go she if some sort of alien was in it, giddy with excitment and couldnt wait till the plane landed

Oru looked up at the man with a tilt of her head.
A few strands of her raven black hair falling over one of her crystal blue eyes.
"U-Umm...I am perfectly fine. Just fell down here is all." she slowly stood to her feet.

My first interaction with a human... I am sure I must have him completely
fooled!

"Oru-Saaan~!" Aru yelled from the trees as she was hanging upside down like a bat as
her dress fell down over her eyes.

"A-ah! That's my sister. I should probably get out of here and see what she requests of me--"
Oru spoke softly as she looked up and saw that her 5'4 self would be incapable of climbing out.
She blushed in embarrassment as she looked up at the taller man.

*he made it to the figure and saw it was nothing more than a very cute girl. He noticed how short she was and chuckled lightly to himself*
"Hi. My name is Blue and I'll be your rescuer for today."
*he held his thumbs up and smiled at her with his oh so charming smile. He
Knelt down in a gesture to let her climb onto his back*

Oru fell off of Blue's back as she winced and looked up at Serina, her long
black hair coming undone from it's braid.
"H-Hello...fellow human." the strap of her dress fell
slightly from her shoulder and the burn marks from where her wings once were
became visible.

Humans reply to needed help so quickly... Amazing.

*he was pummeled into the ground from the strangers weight suddenly coming down on him from out of nowhere. He slowly stood up and brushed himself off*
"Whoa! Where'd you come from Miss!"
*he bent down and helped the young girl back to her feet and helped brushed her off*
"Are you okay?"

*Travis just showed up looking a bit tired as he looked down into the hole, then looked up at the tree, where aru was, seeing that there were already two people helping the shorty out of the whole* you look like your enjoying yourself....... are you hurt in anyway?

Oru smiled nervously before jumping back from him touching her.
"Y-Yes. I am just fine Blue, my rescuer." she smiled up at him.
"It is a pleasure to meet you fellow female human."

"NO! I am NOT enjoying myself!" Aru yelled at Travis. Her dress had fallen over her head as she hung upside down on the tree branch bat style.
"I called for my sisters help, but instead I hear her talking to some guy in a hole!
All of this blood is rushing to my head and I'm going to throw up!"

"Yes. My name's Blue. So you don't have to call me a landing spot."
*he raised his hands up in embarassment*
"I-I'm sorry! It was instinct to dust the dirt off a cute girl who fell not once but twice in a dirt hole like this."

Oru looked at the girl curiously as she wondered how she could possibly
know that it was her who fell from the sky.
Oru's eyes formed a glare as this girl may have known too much.

Oru looked at the female human with a smirk as she had seen this type of sin before.
"Mm..." she thought softly to herself. "Invidia. How quaint."
"That is quite alright my rescuer. I can manage." Oru smiled softly at him before
getting on her tippy toes and grabbing at the edge, using her upper body strength to tug
herself out of the hole.
"Aru!" she scolded as she saw her sister giving a strange look to a mysterious male.

"Hmm? Oh hello my amazing lovable sister who left me stranded on a tree branch!" Aru
folded her arms over her chest in rebellion.

Aru stood beside Travis, poking his cheeks curiously.
"Wow...this is so cool. Where I'm from we'd get executed for standing so close!"

"Aru!"

"Yeah. Heh." a male asserted himself into the conversation.
"And where you're going, execution is merciful. At least they LET you die."
The man stood with his arms crossed over his chest. A long black bang
fell over his eyes as the tail of his black trench coat dragged against the floor.

Oru immediately positioned herself in front of Aru defensively.
"Aru..." she used telepathy. "This is NOT a human we're faced with..."

"What do you want, creature?!" Aru's playful expression grew serious.

"Creature?" his hand went to his chest in dramatic pain.
"Pet names already?" he winked at her with his amethyst eyes.
"Well if you must know. I want you. And I'm going to have you.
Special delivery to Hell's Gate!" he laughed and with a snap of his
fingers Aru's shadow rose from the ground and grabbed her by the ankles,
dragging her to the mystery mans side.

Oru grabbed at her sister wrists trying to pull her back.
"No! I won't let you! Let her go!!"
