In olden times tales were made in order to pass the time and tell morals. Time passed and the stories were constantly changed. However in an old apartment building in a remote part of an old town, that is being remodeled into a new city, is opening it’s doors for the first time in over half a century. The rent is cheap and the apartments are decent but will that be enough of an incentive to move in to Ever After Apartments and ignore the calling of the tales?

*Keiji arrived to these apartments by cab , he looked up at them and ran his hand through his hair. He needed a place a to stay and the word around the local town was that this place had cheap prices and good rooms. Of course that information also came with some idle rumors about the place , some common tales from the era's past. He paid his fare and walked into the complexes doors. He didn't know what to expect but hoped nothing weird would happen*

Belle sat in the long lumpy ivy green couch placed in the middle of the common room. She placed her book staright ahead. She had already lost valuable reading time because her brother and her sister were once again arguing over who would do chores. She sighed heavily before she started to read the book once again. "Looks like you've taken a shine to that book haven't you Belle" an old soothing voice announced. "Oh! Mr. Seams yes I am enjoying this book of poetry thank you so much for letting me barrow it," Belle relied with a smile. "Well when you're ready you can come up to the Penthouse to take another book. Well I must get going new tenants are arriving soon. Have a good day Ms. Chevalier." Mr. Seams walked off to the front to greet the new arrivals.

Keiji was soon greeted by a man claiming his name to be Mr. Seams. They had some idle chi chat , before the questions about the apartment came. Not wanting to seem rude , Keiji indulge him until he was satisfied. He sat down on one end of the room. He made it here alright and was feeling worn out from the long journey. But , the thrill of being in some place with new people kept his eyes opened and his blood pumping. He looked around and saw a young lady reading a book. He got up slowly and walked over to her .

"Bon Jour mon amie , I'm new to this place and i was wondering if we could talk for a bit. You can call me Keiji ,i was wondering if you had the time if you could me your review of this place. I mean from a strictly non business stand point. It would be great to see what other people think , please and thank you."

He smiled , his hand making it's way into his pants pocket as the other was being used to scratch the back of head.

"Bonjour" she said with an French accent for a moment and then switched to her American "well sir. I don't work here but I would not mind talking with you." She giggled for a moment and placed down her book on the stand near by.She quickly got up from couch noticing how tall he was compared to her. She smiled up to him. She held out her hand to him and then spoke, "I'm Belle Chevalier and this building is nice. Everyone usually keeps to themselves but it seems that Mr. Seams wants to fill all of the empty apartments that have been hear." She paused and looked around. "Well I'm not sure of what other of our neighbors are here but Mr. Seams told me that a lot of others are going to be moving in today too."

He smiled , feeling that she might make a a good friend. He couldn't help notice the book she was reading was a poetry one . He quickly scanned her over and smiled .He listened intently , before taking her hand and raising it to his lips and gently kissing the back of her hand. He slowly let her hand go as he bowed looking into her eyes.

"Thank you for being so kind , l'amour. So mon amie , I know you don't work here. But , would a tour of the place be a little to much to ask for ? Well if you don't want to do the tour we can go for a coffee and happen to walk by everywhere.?"

He wanted to learn more about the kind of people that lived here. If he could make sure that his wealth was never found out , this would be a great stay.

*steeping towards the front of the long, clutered bus, Hercules turns around to the other passengers*
"Good bye!! Thank you for accompamying me on my trip here! I hope you all get to where you are going swiftly and safely!"
*as the huge young man carefully navigates towards the front door and the people say their farewells, an old woman in the middle of the bus whispers to her friend, "What a nice young man. Polite, curtious, handsome. I almost feel sorry for him to be so--" At that moment Hercules accidently bumps his head on the way off the bus-- "for him to be so BIG!"
-brushing the blunder off as nothing, he gives one final wave as the bus lurches forward and leaves for its next destination-
"Well, here I am. My new home in America. Ugh, "Ever After?" What an awesome name for a building so grand!"
-with that, Hercules picks up his bags and enters the hall-

"Alright let's go and get coffee and I'll introduce you to some of the wacky residents. Trust me you'll love living here," she said with a laugh. She then picked up her book that was on the side. "There is a coffee shop right next door. Also I notice that you do know some French.
Oú avez-vous appris à parler françaisu?" she said to him clearly as she walked backwards. She placed her loose hair back away from her face.

He smiled , love living here if only that dream could come true. Maybe just maybe she might be right. He walked calmy alongside her and smiled and replied with a slightly bad french accent.

"J'ai appris de .... Disons une amie de ma connaissance de mine.But il est très petit. I only tend to use a few words because i think it sounds better french than it does in english. Certain words seem to convey the message better in different languages, mi amor."

He smiled , and looked at his watch before taking it off and stuffing it in his pocket. ' To these people i am just a roaming student , nothing more, nothing less and i want to try to keep it that way as much as possible.'

"Well other than a bad accent you seem to know more than most people. I think we're going to be come good friends," she said as she walked out into the lobby. She then bumped into Hercules. She looked up for a moment. "Oh my I'm SO sorry I didn't mean to run into you," she said He must be another new tenant. "I was just on my way to the coffee shop next door" she explain as she blush from her embarrassment.

" Thank you , mon amie.I think we can be good friends too. I would really like that."

Keiji managed to hide his chuckle , as he looked up at the guy. ' Damn.... this guy is taller than me .' He stopped and did a quick bow. It was nice to see all the types of people that will be living here alongside him. It was an interesting place to say the least

" How are you ? It's nice to meet you the name is Keiji. I'm new here like you , and i have this pretty lady here showing me around"

As the plane few off to the next destination, Pocahontas starts to walk away from the front doors of the airport. As she breathes in the polluted air she already feels home sick. She walks and walks with papers on hand and a small bag of clothing and some needed supplies. She looks around and all she sees are a multitude of stares around her and starts to feel out of place. She starts to run away till she finds a few buildings. She starts to panic and finds a way out of their. Soon after she found her way to the roof tops, while sprinting from building to building till she found a smiling face inside one of them. With all new hopes and motivations she runs towards her direction, lands near the doors and hugs a girl with skirt.

"Hmm? Oh no! I didn't hurt you did I? I'm sorry I wasn't looking down I was just captivated by this beautiful building."
-looking down Hercules notices the poor frightened looking girl who must've bumped into him accompanied by a slick looking man-
"Oh hello Keiji [gives a quick bow beeing careful not to hit his head on any low-hanging ornaments or lights] my name is Hercules. I'm doing quite well, just off an awesome bus ride with even awesomer companions! *hahaha* yes a pretty girl indeed. Well I hope I haven't startled you two too much."

"No you didn't hurt me at all," she said and blushed and then looked at the girl who was hugging her. Her she squirmed for a few minutes. "I'm sorry but I don't believe that I know you..." she looked at the young girl that was hugging her,"who are you?" She looked at the boys for a sign that one of them would know the girl.

" Oh excuse me for not introducing my self , the name is Keiji. Ummm How are you and it's nice to meet you. I do believe she might be a new tenant and from the looks of it from somewhere in South America. Entiendies Espanol? "

He smiled and a did a small bow to the girl hugging Belle , she seemed more exotic than the the guy who came of the bus. Plus it seemed like she fell out of the sky. He quickly looked up to see if anything could have explained that but he shook his head it would be all clear very soon. He hoped. He shook his head at Belle telling her his knowledge on her was limited to what he has seen and he had nothing else to put in. Apparently the people living here are like him coming from all over the world to start over or start anew.

-whoa she came out of nowhere fast-
"That's a good thing. Whoa! Hmm, peculiar. It seems as though it's raining people in America. Interesting..."

Pocahontas looks at Belle with a hurt expression. She sees and hears the foreigners speak but to an extent. 'I knew I should have practiced english when I had the chance' she thought in her native tounge. She looks back at Belle and back at the foreigners, suddenly she remember the papers she brought with her. Without a second thought, she let's go of Belle, removes her bag from her back and beggins rummiging through her things and pulls out a few papers. She takes a quick glance to varify them and hands them to Belle, hoping that this would help her in her situation. Within the papers the was a photograph of two archiologist, with a similar apperance to Belle's parents and two indians from an Amazonian tribe, a chief and his wife. Below those people were two little girls, one dressed in a pastel purple colored Elisabeth Victorian style dress and the other girl with long black hair covering most of her torso with a simple loin cloth covering her lower-mid section. Both surpriseingly hugging, little Belle smiling at the camera while poor Pocahontas had a very confused apperance. Below the photograph, were documents of Belle's parents permission slip to enter into the Amazon including a few personal information, shot records and Belle's information with a photograph of each of them stapled individually. Just below those paper was a letter with a candel lit stamp, the way they were done in the time of British colonies.

'I hope she remember me but I'm guessing she made a life here. The American customs are so strange here, it seems as if she's married to one of these males' she wondered in her native language while looking at them al in curiosity.

Belle took these papers out of Pocahontas' hands. She quickly glanced over all of the papers that were in the pile. She then glanced at the boys for a moment then back to the papers and began to explain, "It seem stat she came from the Amazon. She is an native of the area..." She paused as she looked at the picture for a moment it. It was her. That's me...then this must be her based on the amount of time that has pasted she thought and then suddenly memories flooded into her mind.

"She is...Pocahontas..." she said as she continued to remember. She held her head and then looked at the Pocahontas, "But what are you doing here? I thought we left you after my mother's archaeology study was done."

"Well , i mean are you okay ? you seem to be having some head pains? Well , i mean we were going to go to get some coffee just us , but you two are more than welcomed to join . I think it will be very interesting to hear our stories or at least yours"

He smiled , he was disappointed but at the same time his interest was piqued and he wanted to learn more. So he put his hand on Belle's back and rub slowly . He looked around and so far this place was intresting and exciting. But to be from the Amazon and not speak any English , well not any that was seen , that was amazing .

'Still their past together seems to have had a rough patch or why would Belle forget... best not to question that just yet'

Pocahontas waited patiently for a response or a good reaction of some sort. She saw how she looked at the papers, then back at the guys, the papers and finally at her. 'Are they both married to Belle?' she thought questionably. She finally snapped out of her thoughts when Belle spoke to her. She looked at her sheepishly as her head fell a bit from embarrassment and a light rose color grew on her checks. 'What can I do?' She grabs hold of her ancestors necklace, as it shines in it's own natural glow. 'Mother, please give me strength and courage to face this.' She remembers a few words her mother thought her but she felt afraid of the outcome. She heard Belle speak but all she understood was her name and saw how one of the guys held Belle so lovingly, 'Probably that's who she is with...?'

"Hello..." She waves the way her tribe usually greet, a raise of the hand in a circular motion. She waits to see if they could respond or at least if Belle could remember her native tongue.
"Hao... omewa ta akimi no casume (Hi, please remember me old friend)" Her eyes were pleading in hope that she could respond, begging that she could speak with her. Many moons has passed since she left but she still remembers it as if it was yesterday. Playing in the fields, their mothers teachings, the late nights looking at the stars, the many runs they had with the wild animals among the land, everything, just as if it happened yesterday. A lone tear began to fall as she thinks of the results.

Keiji looked at the female , who seemed to be trying to communicate. He knew little to nothing about sign language. He watched the gesture she made , trying to see if he could register it as anything. he studied the dress she wore and tried to pick up on her accent , if he could register it with anything he has heard previously.Nothing came to mind , but what was stated amazon. If she couldn't speak English well enough , the chances she can write are slim to none . But then again if they were going out , he could make a makeshift communication system if they needed one. He blinked , she finished the circle motion with her hand. Then he noticed the glow from the necklace , it was something from a closed off civilization yet so interestingly beautiful. Her cheeks turned red , meaning she understood some action or actions that were done. His mind wander slightly about how she looked beautiful with that shade of red , but he quickly focused on the tasked at hand.

'Interesting very interesting , so far the best thing to do in any situation is to learn how to speak the language. Even if belle could translate , no one should be in that situation.'

He instinctively looked at belle as he was lost in his own thoughts. He looked back at Pocahontas . He mirrored her gestured and added a smile hopeing to seem friendly.

"Hello"~ He gestured at himself . "Keiji"~ it was a slightly bad way to show his name to her but it was the only way he knew. He gestured to her" You Pocahontas ?"~ trying add a unmistakeably amount of inflection that showed it was a question.

Pocahontas saw his response and quickly looked at Belle to see if she could help translate. She looked back at the male and thought for a moment. 'Could he be telling me his name?' she pondered for a second or two and repeated his gestures vice versa. A sweet and gentle, "Kei...ji...." left her lips as a cool breeze on a winters night as she pointed towards him. Later a shy but proud "Pocahontas" was heard afterwards while pointing to herself. She blushed further thinking she said it wrong and held her breath without noticing The suspense was slowly killing her, if felt as if time has stood still, 'Did I do something wrong?' she thought. Then gasped as she held her hands to her lips in a childish matter, 'Did she offend them without realizing it?'

She looked at Belle for a second time to see if she could help out but she looked as if she barely moved an inch. Pocahontas face switched from a deep embarrassment to complete and utter fear. Maybe she did something bad, curse the dark magics for this omen. She grabbed her necklace once more, closed her eyes in a prayer and hoped that her mother and ancestors hear her calling from the great sky.

"How did you get here?" Belle said to her in a mix of Amazonian and English. She looked at the girl as more flashes of memories that she had long lost were coming back. The many games that she played with her the language that she had learned, but that was all before she was the age of 6. It had been 12 years since she had seen the young native girl that she had left in the jungle.

Joy. Bliss. Relief. Delight. Call it what you like but it was sheer comfort. Tears almost fell from her eyes when she spoke a bit of Amazonian. She ran onto full force, held her into a loving and eternally longing embrace, like the ones the used to do when they were younger. This time was different, Pocahontas lifted Belle and sunk her face deeper into her upper trapezius muscle. She couldn't believe it, after all this years, it's finally over. She places Belle slowly back to the ground and wipes a few tears from her face, unknown to her that a gentle tear slipped down her check. A simple and pure smile graced her alluring yet foreign features. She felt as if the final peace of the puzzle was fitted properly in a slot in her heart.

Keiji smiled seeing this joyful reunion , the entire atmosphere seeming to brighten up as they embraced. He looked around and smiled. This was a very touching moment , he actually felt a little relieved to see how well everything was progressing. He saw the sparkle from a tear run down her cheek. he saw she still had a tear and leaned forward and wiped the last tear away and smiled as he did. It was the least he could .

' She must have been really worried about losing her childhood friend . But , they seem to have reconciled for the time being '

" It's great you two, found each other again"~ He put his hand back into his pocket before sighing happily.
