Looking through my notebooks, I stumbled upon a thought. We should all share our poetry...

Any and all poetry is welcome.

So, yup. Post your work, feelings, ect. Let the words drip like honey on ivory parchment... ^^

Chess

On the corner of insanity and love
My heart and mind meet
Gazing above
Omens of empathy
Kind and pure
Quickly dwindle
Unsure...
Of what could happen
Pain newly embracing ice
A swift movement
Liberating
Insanity, some say,
I fear that soon the fools will learn
Our secret that lay
So hidden and secure
That sanity is insanity at bay
Like the young lovers
Painful, yet wanted
Masochistic pawns in a sadistic glove
The game shall persist
Till the fools shall dismiss
Love for what it is
A sick game of chess

And I wrote that at 12am...so it's a cluster of thoughts. not really much of a poem. More like thoughts on paper.

He asked her, one day, under a sky so very blue;“If you
knew I was a liar , and you asked me if I love you and I say I didn’t love you.
What would you do?”

And she replied with feelings, hoping he would see;“If
you knew I never lied, and I told you I know you love me.Would you believe me?”

He pondered about this before asking her again;“Then me
being the liar , would tell you I know you love me.What then?”

Then she stood up and said hoping he would remember;“Then
I, being the truthful one, would tell you that you are wrong. I would tell you
that our love for each other causes your hatred of the truth and my hatred of
lies. I would tell you that we are lovers and we belong together.”

This boy, this stupid little boy, he said to she;“I would
say my hatred for you is what drove me away from you. That I can't stand you
and all your truth telling that there is no love between us. That you have
feelings for me.”

She returned the favor, and spoke as cunningly as
he;“Then you, as the liar, would be lying to yourself. Thus by lying to
yourself you can honestly see the truth. That you do love me.”

Him, scared of her, turned his back and rubbed his
skin;“What if the truth is something to good to believe that it has to be a
lie. There is no way something that good can happen.”

She touched him, understanding and bursting with
love;“Anything can happen. Love makes miracles, and miracles show truth. The
truth is something extremely good and valued. As is love.”

He turned and looked at her, her eyes started to
flood;“What if the lie is too great , and all you can see is more lies and
hurt. That the truth becomes some lost .... you don't even remember the warmth
of a hug.”

She hugged him, and whispered, spreading her warmth;“If
the lie is too great, then you will be sucked into your own deception and lead
to your own demise. But the love and the light of someone else, someone pure
and sweet, can break through the barriers of darkness and once again fill your
life with warmth.”

He kissed her, telling her, he wanted to share;“But what
if your so cold , you don't believe it. You just sink back and further into
darkness. You close your eyes to the light , and move deeper into the coldness.
What if all you know is darkness , would you Join me in darkness or leave me
there?”

She replied to his kiss, trying to hide her sadness;“I
would join you in the darkness. Though, I would bring my light with me. I would
share my light, my sanctuary, with you. You would know happiness.”

His answer was what she wanted, and he knew it as she
sat;“Then maybe the light will be bright enough , just maybe will i be able to
see true love and warmth. And I, have to thank you for that.”

She smiled, ever so happy, that he decided to live;“And I
would show you how much you are welcome by giving you as much love as I
possibly could give.”

Again his mind reverted to sadness;“What if I couldn’t
give you the same love back , what if I didn’t know how to. Would you leave and
let me rot in the darkness”

Her answer came out, much stronger than his;“Never! Love
is ment to be shared. Especially if it is you that I must share it with”

He looked at her strangely, slightly taken aback;“Then
again how long would you wait for me to learn how to share love back?”

She laid back and knew that she needed some
luck;“Love waits and lasts forever. It is time that is impatient and goes on no
matter what.”

His reply was shaky, but filled with a lot of love;“What
if our time together is really short , and there isn't enough time for me to
show you my love?”

She said to him, knowing that for him, she’d spill her
blood;“Then lets make the time we have together the most perfect moments of our
life. Let us love, and be loved.”

He was scared, and everything seemed different;“But if
I’m so cold can you keep my hand in yours until I warm up enough ? Could you
handle that? If not then please you can just leave me. It wouldn't really make
a difference”

She got up and held his hand, making her love show;“I will never leave you.
I will hold your hand and never let go.”

Note: not my poem heheheh :3

Through the willows

Whispers of the shadow
Coursing deep
Through my marrow
Sly words and twisted tales
Contourted deep
Like nature trails
Smiles of pain
Cries of anguish
Drove us insane
As the message courses deep
Underground and through blood
The signs, piled in a heap
Lie facing the naive man
With their smiles
Singing the songs of their warning
Trapped
In the abyss of love

This is the time I wish I could hurt someone.
Punch a wall.
Move out.
Run away and never come back.
I hate the anger she forces me to build.
And with every step I take, she brings me closer and closer to exploding.
My dark side slipping from my control
I want blood.
And for once, it isn't mine.
I only have so long before I loose it entirely.
So try me...
I'll make ninja assassin look like Barney.

(if you can't tell, I'm beyond furious. Sorry if it scares you...this is my way out of physical reactions. Excuse it, but I'm close to going insane.)

insanity
the mere plague of humanity
it's silent
it's brewing
finding ways to constrew
The abnormal view
of society
To set it straight
back to the basics

For a lucky few
Insanity is all they knew
Insanity is to us is humanity on the brink
Them discovering the grids and rules of society isn't all that there is to life
that there is a link
between true normality and all its insecurities
Insanity for us its the way we think

Love notes Day-by-Day no one knows
Fooling eachother as each day goes

"I like someone else..."
So now I know...

Where else with this can I go...?
Well...

How can I argue with the truth?
When I'm hearing it straight from you...

Who would have known those lips of yours could bring such pain,
And the trembles that settle in me by simply saying your name

Were all those nights spent in vein?
All my hopes a petty game?

To love you so much,
and not consider your feelings too...

To be so hopelessly in love with someone...
Who will never love you...

Forgive me for falling out of arms reach...
I hoped for a love I could never receive...

But don't be fooled I have a foolish heart,
That would follow you aimlessly from dusk to dark...

I love you Dawn, who made my day,
Brought the light and chased my nightmares away...

And even if with you I fade,
In my heart, it's Dawn everday...

its coursing through my veins
breaking boundaries
with a sinful smile, it know what its doing
taking the pain away for just a moment
yet throwing it back thrice the strength
with a warm hand and a cold heart,

The world I know.

A special world for you and me
A special bond one cannot see
It wraps us up in its cocoon
And holds us fiercely in its womb.

Its fingers spread like fine spun gold
Gently nestling us to the fold
Like silken thread it holds us fast
Bonds like this are meant to last.

And though at times a thread may break
A new one forms in its wake
To bind us closer and keep us strong
In a special world, where we belong.

I have seen it…..

My love, I have tried with all my being
to grasp a form comparable to thine own,
but nothing seems worthy;

I know now why Shakespeare could not
compare his love to a summer’s day.
It would be a crime to denounce the beauty
of such a creature as thee,
to simply cast away the precision
God had placed in forging you.

Each facet of your being
whether it physical or spiritual
is an ensnarement
from which there is no release.
But I do not wish release.
I wish to stay entrapped forever.
With you for all eternity.

If I could have just
one wish,
I would wish to wake up everyday
to the sound of your breath on my neck,
the warmth of your lips on my cheek,
the touch of your fingers on my skin,
and the feel of your heart beating with mine...
Knowing that I could never find that feeling
with anyone other than you.
