Kobo: ... we're going to get ice cream. let's go (Kobo walks over to the ice cream stand with darcy following) which flavor do you want??

Darcy: Uummmm...can I have Choclate?

Kobo: Of course (Kobo orders the chocolate favored ice cream as the guy places a nice scope of it on a cone. Kobo pays the man and hands the cone to Darcy). There you go take your time and try not to knock the ice cream to the ground..

Darcy: I won't. (licks the ice cream) Mister...why are you and Boney so mean to each other?

Kobo: Mean? He misjudges me so I just appeal to the way he talks to me If he wants to believe I have a "dark" nature about me then I'll act that way. I chose my appearance many years ago, when I was born I was suppose to be purified through a holy ceremony but for whatever reason apparently I cried and screamed during the ceremony which demonstrated "I was the devil's child" so they said.. so I just lived a life with my shadowy demeanor letting all those people think they were right about me but they aren't because I'm just acting. Bones when we first met had a comparable attitude like the people back at my homeland so immediately out of habit I began to act the same way he talked to me so he could think he's right about everything he judges me on when in reality he doesn't know the real Kobo, hardly anyone does.. (leans back against a wall closing my eyes) However, don't live life like i do. Don't be an actor sometimes i wonder if appealing to people's beliefs was a good decision

Darcy: I don't know what all that means but I know some...Bones isn't serious about you, you know. Yeah, he likes to be by himself a lot but he isn't mean. He just jokes a lot when he doesn't know something...don't be so hard on him please.

Kobo: Oh don't worry I have no personal grudges against him I wouldn't choose to be around him if I did.. If i truly had a grudge on him I would've left him in that battle to die.

Darcy: He's already dead.

Kobo: Yea I realize that.. but when someone is protecting their body it shows there is something else left of them worth protecting.

Darcy: I guess but...Boney won't go away...(nervously giggles) I won't let him. Um...can we go now? I'm getting tired...

Kobo: Perhaps he won't.. I don't have an actual place where you could rest because I don't own a home anywhere near you'd have to improvise (Kobo walks off) the only thing that comes to mind is an area with green grass that you could lay on..

Darcy: Uuumm...you can go there if you want but I'm gonna go home. Bye bye. (runs off)

Kobo: Very well, don't get yourself into trouble.. I'll just be around town so if you need me you know where you can find me.. (Kobo walks off after darcy leaves he goes into an ally and sits & leans against a wall)

Darcy: (scurries back to the warehouses and lies down in her "room", awaiting the next day) G'night stars.

The next morning...

Kobo: (Kobo twitches from the caw) mmm... good morning to you to bastian.. (He sits up stretching picking up his sheated katana and sticks inside his waist belt) Where have you been all this time? Well, it probably isn't my business but i am indeed nosy.. (he walks off heading to find Darcy somewhere with bastian following)

Darcy: (Accepts an apple from a generous man then sits down and munches on it, looking around and feels something familiar) Boney? Boney, s'that you?

Darcy: (gets up after feeling a strange danger) Mm...B-boney...is this a joke? It's not funny. (suddenly realizes that she can see her breath)

Hmm, yes that would be a lot more helpful (kobo walks along the road in a different direction from where the other ravens went) Something doesn't feel right this morning..

Darcy: (Runs through the city, trying to escape this horrible feeling when she runs into you) Huh? Oh, Boney's buddy! Yeah yeah! Uh...I feel like a scary person's around here...

?: You got that right! (Leaps up behind Darcy who screams)

Kobo: (as the unknown person leaps behind darcy kobo Spirit Charges which leaves an after image in his respective spot as he sketches in behind the unknown person with the tip of his katana pressed on his back) now, we can't really have strangers touching little children in such a way now can we?
