I'm a bit excited about it.
There are a few things that I noticed could be better
when I got my PS3.

(Like typing messages to psn friends)
It's super tedious going across every stinkin' letter.
(Takes 5 minutes for one sentence)
A keyboard would satisfy me, but there's no smooth way to go
about it now with the ps3's remote shape (too small,
attachable keyboard would be too bulky)

I mean, there are a few minor changes, but they are changes that
would make the experience a whole lot better (for some)

PS3's been out for like 8 years already.
It doesn't hurt to have some updates and keep up
with the competition from Microsoft and their release of the XBOX 720,
that's coming out in the same general span of time.

So I support it.

I've only had my PS3 for a few months so far, but I'm satisfied enough to
not jump the gun for the PS4 right away.
But I may end up getting it next year.
I think this was great timing for Sony and they completely pushed the Wii-U
into the shadows while frightening Xbox of what's to come.
