Question for you. Ever seen a Gundam series?

It's about these people who get turned into these "Contractors" which are pretty much human weapons. Though every time they use their powers they have to abide by their renumeration. Like for one character after using his ability he had to smoke (His renumeration) and he didn't like smoking which makes it a hard thing to do. All renumerations are a type of punishment. But with that said the main character is a contractor who doesn't have a renumeration and wants to escape the bondage the whole continent is in. Lots of fighting and a pretty good storyline it follows into a sequel called Darker than Black: Gemini of the Meteor.

And well, the last time I saw gundam I was in elementary the only 2 second memory I have of gundam is a robot flying up to a super sized robot lol....

I know though humans control the robots and I believe they equip them with their own weaponry and what not. What really sucked though when they made that super kiddie Gundam show... Like the main robots were kids and they were alive.. I can't remember the name of that show it was ridiculous though.

Yea, I miss that guy.. Coming home from school to watch toonami was the best.. Yu Yu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, DBZ, Zoids Chaotic Century... Ah good moments. Now all we have is this low-budget looking crap ~.~ I hate them so much I don't even wanna name their titles..

Basically, it's about a military dude named Sousuke Sagara, who works for Mithril (If I remember correctly) and he's assigned to protect this girl, Chidori, a 'special' girl. There's a lot of mecha battles in it as well, they mecha are called Arm Slaves(If I remember correctly).
